Hey, another question! Is anybody here a musician too?
I play percussion and guitar, and I began to play Anna`s songs. Some songs can be played easy, some are really difficult. Easy to play is, per example, "Nights In Goodville", "Shoreline" is not so easy, but I can play it! My dream is to play any coversongs from Anna with my band. Maybe if Anna comes to berlin again, we can meet before or even after the concert to play and sing some songs together, what do you think about? |

I started listening to Anna after my sister bought her first album way back and she introduced me to it (it usually is the other way around so I was very reluctant to confess I liked it at first).
Now I'm an avid Ternheim concert goer and enjoy the albums very much, they have a special kind of nerv to them, something really strong but fragile at the same time. It's good stuffz indeed. |

I can't really remember the date I first heared her.
But I was going through youtube, as always and "I'll follow you tonight" just catched my eye.. had to listen and zooom, I was all into it! Took me like 4 weeks to get off that song and look for different ones of her ![]() Too bad that I didn't make it to any concert yet. I had the opportunity Sept. 2009. She gave a concert in my hometown (Bielefeld) in the place belonging to the father of an old schoolmate.. but I didn't make it. Was busy moving ![]() So.. hopefully 2010 will be the year that I get the chance to see her live ![]() |

Hi, im Frank from Germany. Sorry for the bad english
My first time hearing anna was a horrible day for me, well at the beginning of course! My goal for this day was quit simple: Don´t be late for your job intervieW! I had to drive like 3 hours just to get there and around midday i almost made it. But suddenly i realized i was sitting more comfortable then usual. "Nothing seems to be in my back pocket ... WHOOO ! WHERE IS MY WALLET !?" Well it was lost and with it the money and my licence. BAD DAY I still wanted to visit the interview cause, since i had no money, it wouldn´t matter when, on my way home, the car would stop. I was frightened, nervous and my car was hot like hell! I really wanted this job! I even prepared myself over two weeks for it. Putting it bluntly ... i was hating myself. So i turned on the radio to get a better mood andl it helped. Halfway to fivepoints =) I just looked at the road, everybody rushing for a new chance like me And i had a feeling like ... "Screw it just park somewhere near the field, take the day off and smoke a cigarette!"Without money, miles away from everything, no driving licence ... But the warm wind, hearing anna ... and the crackling sound of my cigarette. I tell you ... freedom never felt this good! At least not that i remember. From this day on i was a Fan ![]() |

![]() Your story is probably the most dramatic one I've heard so far. But it seems like Anna saved your life for that day ![]() |
